I’m surely not the only one who has grabbed an old roll of masking tape and spent the next 15 minutes trying to peel off even an inch or two before it tore jaggedly on the roll. To end this frustration, I put the roll in the microwave for about 10 seconds. It softens the adhesive just enough to peel the tape nicely off the roll. — Charles Crowley
