Remove Water Quickly

If you don’t drain all the water from your garden hoses before winter, ice can form and expand inside, causing your hoses to rupture. To prevent this, I took a short length of old garden hose and attached a male air hose fitting to it. Now I can connect it to my air compressor and quickly blow all the water out of my hoses. Just make sure the other end of your garden hose is outside so you don’t get water all over your garage floor. — Les Beeckman
