Better Lawn Mower Traction
The drive wheels on my self-propelled lawn mower would sometimes spin on hills, especially when the grass was damp. To improve the traction, I drove a few self-tapping sheet metal screws with hex-shaped heads into the wheels. Now the tires perform like those knobby tires on off-road vehicles. — Gaylord Gwisdalla
