Tipster Ed Bernadou threw us a cool curve-maker. It’s a round, perforated “plastic canvas” for yarn (at a crafts store). You can use it to quickly trace arcs on all kinds of projects. Snip out a hole in the center and slip in the eraser end of a pencil (or pen) for a center pivot. Insert a pencil tip into one of the holes and rotate it around the center to draw an arc or circle. The holes let you increase or decrease the radius in 1/8-in. increments. Add a strip of tape with hash marks to make radius-finding faster.
