When you’re in the shop, rip off the tops of all your boxes of brads and mark the sizes on the little tabs (photo below). No more digging around or guessing for the correct length. And when you’re working away from the shop and have just a little bit of trim work to pin up that requires more than one size brad, use this tip. Preload the magazine of your gun with an inch or two of the sizes you’ll need (photo above). Swap them around as you need them. No more hauling around boxes of brads or dealing with broken, hard-to-pack strips.
