Transfer the most delicate scroll patterns from a book to the wood you’re sawing in three easy steps!
- Photocopy the pattern with the copy machine at its darkest setting.
- Tape the photocopy at each corner, face down, on the wood you’re sawing.
- Heat the pattern with a hot iron to transfer it to the wood.
Don’t hurry. To produce a sharp image, run the tip of the iron on every line of the pattern. Press hard to transfer the copy onto the wood. Check your progress as you go by lifting the tape from only one corner so the pattern falls back exactly into place when you retape it to finish the pattern.
