The Family Handyman
Screws make great pegs for holding tools on the wall, and here’s a way you can make them even more useful. Buy a length of 3/16-in. tubing, cut pieces about 1 in. in length, and slip them over your 2-in. drywall or deck screw shafts. Drive each screw until the vinyl tube contacts the wood surface and the tapered head of the screw. Now you’ve got cushioned surfaces for hanging all your fine hand tools.
