The Kreg Mobile Project Center functions as a workbench, a sawhorse and a clamping station. As a workbench, it has a beefy 350-lb. capacity (to the edge of the tabletop!)—perfect for a miter saw, planer or small table saw. Two of them can be connected directly to each other, or they can be connected with two 2x4s, which can support a huge plywood work surface.
The wings are easy to fold down to convert the Mobile Project Center into a sawhorse that can support 1,100 lbs. Add a sacrificial board to protect your new toy from errant saw blades.
As a clamping station, it comes with an auto-adjusting clamp that fits into the track at the center of the work surface. The clamp can also be attached to the ends of the table, and with the bench dogs (four included), can be used to clamp the sides of a board or project.
Not to sound like a TV infomercial, but there really is “so much more.” The holes/holsters hold your drills; the recessed trays hold hardware; the recess on the perimeter holds boxes of screws; and the rubber feet keep the setup from sliding around. Expect to pay $160 for a Kreg Mobile Project Center.
