Little ones are often eager to help around the house, so have them give you a hand with one dreaded chore.
Casdon, a United Kingdom-based toy company, now sells a mini toy replica of the Dyson cord-free vacuum. The toy version comes complete with working suction to pick up all those small tidbits left on your home’s floors. In addition, it looks so much like the adult version—complete with simulated cyclone action with moving colorful balls and with the same sounds as the original model—you’ll easily be able to trick your young DIYer to help with the chore of vacuuming.
The mini version also comes with extensions, allowing little ones to use a short nozzle or the long handled setting, both of which have an easy release system. When finished with their chore, little ones will be able to remove the dustbin to empty the contents.
According to toy-maker Casdon, the Dyson cord-free toy vacuum helps kids explore imagination and develop social skills during realistic role play. It also encourages development of hand-to-eye coordination along with problem solving and motor skills.
“Little ones adore role play and pretending that they are doing jobs around the house—just like the grown-ups,” the Casdon website states. “This Dyson Cord-free Vacuum has been specially designed to be true to life, right down to the last detail so your Little Helper will really feel part of your world while developing essential life skills.”
Reviewers on Amazon note the vacuum is perfect for little helpers. It’s currently selling on the website for $44.99. The vacuum is suitable for children ages 3 and up and requires four C batteries.
