Making shop jigs is one of my favorite things to do. It uses the analytical, logical and creative side of my brain, and it allows me to do better work safer and faster. After making jigs to cut parts for the Console Stereo Revival project (March ’22, p. 22) and the DIY Crosscut Sled for the table saw (April/May ’22, p. 56), I thought it would be fun to give you a sampling of the jigs I’ve made and used over the years, and show you how to make them yourself.
