The next step in making ultimate slime is to empty the 4-ounce bottle of glue into another bowl. Add 1/2 cup of water. Stir.

Add Food Coloring

Ultimate Slime Coloring

Add your food coloring to the glue mixture and stir until you get the color you want for your ultimate slime.

Combine the Solutions

Ultimate Slime Mix

Pour the glue solution into the Borax solution. Mix until your whisk gets gummed up. Now you have to get your hands dirty (or use gloves) and continue to knead and mix the ultimate slime until you finally get the consistency you desire.

Storing the Ultimate Slime

Store the slime in a resealable bag or an airtight container. The ultimate slime should hold tight for a few weeks. If you leave it out for more than a few hours, the slime should recover and still be useful but anything more than a day left out will likely ruin the slime and possibly whatever it was resting on. If you happen to spill it, follow these steps on how to get slime out of carpet. Be careful and have fun with your slime!
