Introduction
A box fan and an open window — there's nothing better to move stale, stuffy air. However, all that action means box fans pick up all kinds of grime and dust.
Luckily, cleaning them is a breeze. If yours is only a little dusty, a vacuum and a damp cloth might take care of things. But for serious grime, dunk the grilles (but never the electronics!) in soapy water and give them a scrub.
Tools Required
- Screwdriver
- Sponge or dishcloth
- Towels
