DIY Media Center Parts
- 16 Large Crates
- 4’ x 8’ Sheet of 3/16″ Plywood
- 1-1/4” Wood Screws
- 1/2” Wood Screws
DIY Media Center Tools
- Drill
- Phillips Head screwdriver
- Circular Saw
DIY Media Center How-To Instructions:
Measure and mark the plywood as shown; then using a circular saw, cut the plywood to size.
Place three crates side-by-side, slatted side down, and attach with 1-1/4 in. wood screws. Place one crate on each end 6-1/4 in. back from the front of the three crates as shown; attach with 1-1/4 in. wood screws.
Now that you’ve established your base, lay the cut piece of plywood on top as shown and secure with screws. Next, assemble five crates side-by-side, slatted side down, and attach with 1-1/4 in. wood screws.
Place three crates on top of each end of the base and attach with 1/2 in. wood screws through the slats.
Using a drill, attach the five crates to the base as shown. Add your TV and that’s it!
