Flexible plastic forms
Spray lubricant
Quikrete Quick-Setting Cement Mix (small container)
Mixing bucket

Steps

Prep the form and concrete mix

First, spray your form with lubricant so when the finished concrete piece is set, it can be removed easily. Mix your desired amount of concrete and pour it into the form.

Add relief form

Insert the relief form to shape the plant holder part of the planter (I used a clean yogurt container). You may need to weight the relief form to keep it embedded in the concrete as it sets.

Place the filled form in a cool, dry place and allow the concrete to dry for at least 24 hours.
