One of Amazon’s best rated queen mattresses, the Classic Brands Cool Gel 2.0 Ultimate ($405), is on sale. This 14-inch-thick mattress has a 4.4 rating with more than 9,000 reviews. It features gel memory foam and is made from self-ventilating materials to keep you cool. And it has a 10-year warranty. During the sale you not only save $55, you get two memory foam pillows free. Bonus: It’s available for Prime shipping.

Walmart has one mattress on sale for Labor Day: The Better Homes & Gardens 12-inch Peaceful Purity Mattress. This cooling, charcoal-gel infused memory foam mattress has dropped in price from $369 for a queen to $213.
“I’ve had issues with my back and just getting a good night’s sleep in general, but I really like how comfortable this feels,” wrote one customer on Walmart’s website. “It shapes to your body and isn’t stiff or hard like some other brands.”
One of the best buys over at Wayfair is their Sleep Medium Pillow Top Hybrid Mattress. Wayfair slashed the price nearly in half for the full-sized mattress (from $579 to $310), and exactly in half for the queen (from $740 to $370). If you need something bigger, the king and the California king are 48 percent off.
“The mattress has the perfect amount of plush plus firm and the price was right,” wrote a customer on Wayfair’s website. “Wayfair’s customer service is top — the previous mattress we received was not what we expected and they replaced it with this one at no charge!!”
At Target, the Molecule 1 Mattress is on sale for 33 percent off. That means you’ll save $300 on a queen and pay only $600. The Molecule was designed to be cooling while aiding in body recovery.
“So glad we decided on the Molecule mattress,” wrote a Molecule customer. “Had it for a little over a week now and have slept great!! My husband is a back sleeper and has had no back soreness. Sleep Number is having its “biggest sale of the year” and the largest markdown is on its 360 iLE Limited Edition Smart Bed. It’s 50 percent off, lowering the price from $5,099 to $2,550 for the queen. Not only is this bed adjustable, it also records sleep information that you can monitor through an app.
“I purchased this bed because my husband and I are of different weights and likeness of a bed type,” wrote a customer on the Sleep Number website. “This gave us the best of both worlds and has a special cooling feature.”
Helix is doing its Labor Day sale a little differently. Instead of putting certain mattresses on sale, they are giving out digital coupons and free pillows.
