We thought we’d covered every kind of kitchen rollout possible. Then Jason Gilliam sent us this photo. To build his version, Jason took the cabinet out to the garage and performed major surgery. He moved the cabinet’s back panel forward, cut a hole in the side and built a slide-out shelf. The shelf rides on fixed casters and is guided by full extension drawer slides (two at the bottom and one on the top).
“This solution came out of frustration: big, overloaded shelves collapsing and useless space at the back of the deep cabinet.” — Jason Gilliam
