After I tore out my ugly, old chain link fence, I went shopping for prefab fencing. I searched for weeks, visiting every home center and fencing supplier in town. I even drove around neighborhoods, looking for inspiration. Nothing I saw was quite right. Finally I gave up on buying a fence and decided to build my own from scratch. It was a big effort, but I got exactly what I wanted. The arched top rails complement the brick arches on my home, and the spaced pickets provide just enough openness so I don’t feel trapped in my own backyard.
“You can’t buy a prefab fence like this anywhere. I know because I tried.” — Scott Schneider
