How to Keep Track of Dull Blades
I must have four or five utility knives at different spots around the house. And sometimes when a utility knife gets dull, I can’t remember if I’ve used the other side of the blade or not. And it’s a hassle to keep opening up the utility knife to switch out the blades. Here is a simple solution for this issue: put a dot at the front of the blade so the next time it gets dull you will know that you’ve used that side before. And when you go to replace the blade and you see no dot, you now know that it can be thrown away. — Mike Maguire
