Painting Tool Hack
I came up with a nifty solution to keep the fine edges of my drywall knives from getting dinged up. I buy 3/8-in. clear tubing at the hardware store and cut lengths to fit the blades. I then take a sharp utility knife and slit the tubing lengthwise and slip it over the blade. The tubing is somewhat clingy, so it stays put even in a toolbox tote. — Richard Wisz.
