Glass panel railing looks great, but Sean O’Connor chose it for practical reasons. Glass can block the wind while preserving the view. It’s low maintenance, and best of all, kids can’t climb it or get stuck in it. Installation turned out to be a plus, too. Drilling 72 anchor holes into the concrete was no picnic, but the aluminum rails and glass panels went together quickly.
“With our high terrace, we needed something kid-proof—not a climbing magnet.” — Sean O’Connor
