Alloy wheels look pretty cool coming off the showroom floor. To keep them looking cool, carmakers apply a clear coating that prevents oxidation and repels road salt. But over time, that coating takes a beating and you end up with dull-looking wheels. The key to restoring the showroom look is to use the right polish on the clear coating. We get lots of samples of car polish. But no one had ever sent us a specification sheet that spelled out the size of the polishing particles in the product until the makers of Eagle One Nano Polish did. The particle size in its Nano Polish is about 1,600 times smaller than what you find in most other wheel polishes. That’s 1/75,000th the size of a human hair. But since few of the TFH editors have hair, we had to try it on a real car. The final finish was as smooth as glass.
