I recycled a tin can that was going to be thrown away into a water bottle holder for my walk-behind lawnmower. I removed the can label and used two plastic cable ties to attach it to the handle of my mower. Now I have water within reach when I need it with my DIY water bottle holder. – Stan Philips
It’s important to stay hydrated when mowing the lawn on really hot days. And with this hint, you won’t have to carry a bottle of water in your pocket or walk up to your house to get a drink.
Be sure to attach the can so that it hangs under the lawnmower handle and not to the side, which can get caught when mowing along a fence or around tall landscape fixtures.
