Sofa Stops

Felt pads for furniture feet do a good job of protecting my wood floors, but they turned out to be hard on my walls. After I put the protective pads on my sofa’s feet, the sofa slid into the wall every time I sat down, leaving ugly scuff marks. To solve that problem, I screwed two doorstops on the back of the sofa legs at a height that hits the baseboard. — Dwight Hallock
