I jumped right in and built David Radtke’s TV stand, as shown in the November 2012 issue of The Family Handyman magazine. It was lots of fun to build!
I used oak plywood for this project, which cost about $300 in Juneau, Alaska—quite a bit more than suggested in the magazine. Also, this is the ﬁrst project I’ve done using a Kreg pocket-hole jig. It’s a very good tool! You could say I’m an expert with this tool now! Now I have to buy a new TV.
