Prevent a Paint Bucket Mess with Painter’s Tape
I use painter’s tape around the rim of a paint can to prevent paint from getting into the rim. And I only put the tape around the section of the lid where I pour.
I always seemed to make a mess when putting away my paint after finishing up a project, until I thought of a way to prevent these paint-splatter messes from happening in the first place.
I use painter’s tape around the rim of a paint can to prevent paint from getting into the rim. And I only put the tape around the section of the lid where I pour. Once done, I remove the painter’s tape to reveal a clean paint can rim. This handy hint prevents splatter when I pound the lid back into the can. — Richard Monda
