Need to conform a new countertop to a wavy wall? Here’s a great way to scribe it to create a perfect fit. Stick masking tape along the entire length of the countertop. Use a washer as a “pilot” wheel that’ll spin as you run a marker through the washer hole to follow the wall contours. Cut and belt-sand to the line for a nearly seamless fit. — Jerry Matthews
