This is fine for some shoes and boots, but my wife has a lot of boots that don't stand up on there own, and were usually flopped over on the closet floor. I built a rack that hangs these boots. Works great! Unfortunately there is no way to post a pic of it here.

It looks like the 5 inches should be from the edge, not 5 inches from the other hole. That's not what it says, but it looks like it should work.

Trying to do this but the measurements don't work out. In the picture it show the measurement as 5 and a eighth on one side and 6and three quarters on the other side. to drill the hole you have to start in from the one side at an inch and three eights and thats the center of your first hole then according to the picture you move up 5 inches and drill your second hole. i'm no mathemetician but an inch and three eights and 5 inches is 6and three eights and that puts you very close to the other edge and in the picture the second hole is not even close to the other end. so what is the correct distance between the holes?
