Not what I was expecting from FH. This was more like an Ask.com article - how to do something - step 1, do it. I was hoping for information on equipment, wiring, computer connectivity, etc. Or at least something more that how to arrange the furniture. Try again.

No acoustical treatments, I am disappointed. Built my "spouse friendly panels using a canvas picture stretched on a frame then added 1x4 red oak panels on all 4 sides with Owens Corning 703 Rigid Fiberglass Board behind the canvas. the pictures were large (24"x36") and reduced reflections nicely.

Also, you picture shows an enclosed cabinet for the TV. When 26" tubes ruled the world this may have been acceptable. With screen sizes constantly getting larger, I'd never enclose a TV anymore.
