We were proud of our work on our new walkway, which featured a beautiful brickwork pattern pressed into the concrete. Two years later, when it was time to have our septic holding tank pumped out, we discovered after much searching that we built the walkway over the tank cleanout. We borrowed a concrete saw and—painfully—we cut a 2-ft. wide section from our beautiful walkway so the tank could be pumped.
