Great Goofs: Stuck On The Phone

Not a good way to get a new phone.

Stuck On The Phone

Not long ago, a friend of mine was filling in cracks near the corner of the floor with a can of spray foam insulation. If you've ever used this stuff, you know how sticky it can be. Then her phone rang. As she was getting up from the floor, she put her hand into the wet foam. When she grabbed the phone, the gob of insulation got on the receiver and stuck to her hair. She couldn't free herself of the phone. After several exasperating minutes, she ended up soaking the phone and her hand and hair in warm water for about an hour until the foam loosened up. Needless to say, she also had to shop for a new phone. - Bill Gunderson
