Great Goofs: Gone Fishing

What killed all the fish?

Gone Fishing

My husband and I recently bought a real fixer-upper. Since we were newlyweds and a bit short on cash, we started saving our money to do a complete bathroom makeover. To further save money, my handy father said he'd help us out for free. While we went on a much-needed vacation, my father got right to work installing a new toilet, vanity, sink and floor. He even tackled the wallpaper. When we returned, we were elated to see the whole job completed and thanked my dad profusely. Later the next day, as I looked at the wallpaper, something looked peculiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Then it dawned on me. The fish pattern wallpaper was upside down. The fish were all swimming belly side up! - Jo Ann Roether
