Great Goofs: Blowin' in the Wind

What the heck happened to your car?!

blowin in the wind

The soffits of my beachfront home badly needed some gray stain. I had waited weeks for seasonally strong sea winds to die down so I could use my paint sprayer. Finally a "slightly windy" day arrived and I climbed the ladder with my new sprayer to begin work. I noticed that windy downdrafts occasionally carried the overspray down under my stilt house. After finishing the job and cleaning the sprayer, I was walking around the house admiring my stain work when I noticed with horror the gray specks all over my Jeep and the interior upholstery! I had left it parked under the house, top down, with no protective covering.
