How exactly do you lay out 5 or 6 rows of hardwood flooring in advance? In my experience, the far right piece has to be measured and cut precisely to assure a tight fit, and the piece that's cut off becomes the first piece on the far left for the next row. You can't possibly make those cuts accurately without actually installing the pieces.

Hi.... could you suggest where can I find 3/4" think 3/4" wide Brazilian cherry? The smallest width carried by shops I visited are 2 1/4".
