I just tried this with Un-Petroleum Jelly. Works great so far - and actually non-toxic.

Petroleum Jelly is NOT non-toxic !!! Nor for that matter is Mineral Oil !
Regardless what the Feds say, these are both carcinogenic materials that are by- products of refining petroleum to make gasoline. Not something you ever would want to eat, drink, breath or lather on your skin!

I think I'm going to try a good old fashioned handmade bar soap...
