I'll tell you what. Where I live, custom cabinets are EXPENSIVE. As they should be. A friend of mine installed a TV stand, with lower cabinets 8 feet wide. 4 floating shelves. a valance with 4 led lights inside. Painted white. It cost him $6800.00. The work is flawless by a well known local company. I'll make my own.

Great old school way to build true custom cabinets. Facilitates Plumb and level installation. Happy to see the custom install has not been lost in the big box shuffle.

Also, I like to use a strip of pegboard as a jig for hole drilling for adjustable shelves.
