I am remodeling my son's bathroom- After trying to find what I want, the cost, and that it just won't be as much fun if it's already made... I've decided to make the vanity top. I have several ideas going through my head of what I could use on the surface. The great thing about tiling (versus gluing laminate) is that you don't have to worry about getting the edges "perfect"... The tile will create that great edge on their own. I know some basic stuff, my dad built our house, and a lot of things (counter tops, bathroom cabinets, etc) were custom made by us.
