They also make "no-salt" Rice Cakes which can be offered as a treat for dogs who need a no-salt or low-salt diet.

My Chihuahua Peanut had a heart condition and required an almost NO-Salt diet, which meant no-salt doggie treats.

After scouring the internet looking for no-salt commercial dog treats...and finding none... I tried the no-salt variety of rice cakes.

Needless to say....since they were the one and only dog treat she was allowed...she learned to love them... and so did her Yorkie brothers Nickie and Marty... who were not on a low salt diet.
