great article. i always like working with pvc but always have trouble bonding it. http://www.iplasticsupply.com/ is where i get my pvc and maybe i should ask to see if they know how to bond or what they recommend.

To replace a section of damaged PVC pipe, I use 4 (four) 90 degree elbows that connects the new section of pipe "offset" from the same line the old pipe was in. By doing this, the replacement pipe can be installed without having to "push back" and try to insert the new piece if pipe into the two ends where the damaged piece of pipe was removed from. And the four additional 90 degree bends does not add much more resistance to the flow of fluid in the pipe.
