I'm in the process of completing this but I modified the depth, width and length of the pond box to suit our location. Good thing I know quite a bit about lumber and materials and such, cause the materials list section of this project doesn't exist. This is a cool idea. I'm building two matching pond box/trelis'.

build in a weekend ???
no of course not.....
the painting alone - several coats--would take hours..
.....masking painting drying....painting next coat ...

if you already have a foundation think more like 4 weekends from lumber to your boss being happy :)
