This is a fantastic idea, although I haven't completed it yet. It is plans like this that make me a fan of your site. So easy and great directions, even I can do it by myself.

I added a rain garden to once corner of the yard that I couldn't put rain barrels in and where the slope tends to collect water prior to it swailing out to the front... It was a pain and the best solution for me was to add a rain garden in a type of kidney shaped pattern. I got most of my plants (native ones to wisconsin) from a local nature center and researched them for what pattern I wanted in the garden. I found however to fill in the rain garden just using a perrenial rain garden mix works fine. I lined the entire thing with river rock.. it solved most if not all of my water issues.. the garden sucks up all the water. I added a river birch tree to the middle of it just to add screening
