I like the idea of this project! the instructions were well written and easy to understand for even beginners. Do you think by using a thin layer of protective coating that can be bought at any local home depot will decrease the chances of the material from waring away?

I liked the design used in this project because it doesn't use the ugly 2x2 railings. The design is classy, also the underDecking looks good, is easy to build and doesn't use the tired lattice look.
