Not building it at this time, but in the process of buying a Cape Cod, which needs a dormer over the tiny bathroom area. I am fairly experienced in the field, though still may hire an area contractor to assist me in the building of the shell. Once the new addition is weatheed in, I will do the electrical wiring, insulation, plumbing and finish work myself. I know my limits of working on a roof. This article certainly cleared up some simple questions, thank you!
