Auto degreaser effectively cleaned the lower portion of the vent filter that we dipped in the degreaser/water bath.
If you ran your vent hood grease filter through your dishwasher or tried
“grease cutting” household cleaners, but had disappointing results, try a water-based degreaser from the
auto parts store. Simply fill the sink with hot water and
degreaser, drop in the filter and let the degreaser do
all the work. Our filter came out sparkling clean in just
a few minutes. Then rinse it off.
