The main problem with this project, that I see, is that it cuts down on sound insulation of what's going on in the bathroom.

Fellow DIY'er the word stile is used to discribe the vertical parts of a cabinet, book shelf, or face frame. Picture a box in your mind with a thin frame around the outside of it the vertical pieces on the front are the stiles, and the horizontal pieces on the front are called rails. I hope that helps but if not look in any woodworking book or magazine or better yet Google it! good luck and happy building!

What are stiles?

At the end of the step-by-step guide the instructions say to -
"Finally, put the cabinet into the wall, level it, then nail through the stiles into the studs with 2-1/2-in. finish nails."

I did a find command on that page and there is no other place that uses the word "stiles". What does that mean?
