We have a problem fixing a bouncy floor in an apartment. Our contractor built a subfloor that we had hardwood installed across. We noticed that when one of us is sitting on the couch, there is a significant amount of bounce felt when another person walks by. Obviously, we can't get underneath the floors to the joists to fix this. I am having trouble finding any fixes for people that don't have basement access to their floors. Does anyone have any suggestions outside of tearing up the whole floor?
