while the warning must be appreciate it is simply INACCURATE to say that the lugs A (main lugs) are live if power was disconnected to the premises-granted the switch can malfunction (and tested to double check should always be done-in addition to never touching touching it unless absolutely necessary) -but there should be zero electrical potential on all leads if the switch works correctly -to break the circuit and leaving air gaps
