I'm in the same boat as Anton....I would like to replace my casements with double hung windows. I can't get my head around how to swap them out...casements seal from the outside, double hungs need to be fully sealed against a stop. Any help is appreciated.

Many people who consider vinyl as a siding material would look for sidings at a cheaper price with the same high quality of course. This is in an industry where your reputation can be difference between living comfortably and struggling to get by. Therefore with a good contractor of Long Beach windows installer have got their reputation for treating people right stands alone. I have two vertical casement windows 22" & 26" wide by 69 1/4" high that the sashes have rotted at the bottom and need to be replaced. The problem is I can't find any sash replacement kits for this type of window. One of these windows is part of a four lite picture window so replacing the whole window set would be expensive. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I live in eastern Canada so sources here would more ideal but I'm desperate.
